Had the worst angina for months today, sorted by the GTN spray.
It hasn't gone away, my angina. It pounces from time to time and today aided and abetted by the air pollution it had me reaching for, and using, my GTN spray, the very same type that caused chaos briefly at Southend Airport in September.
Thank God that it worked and quickly.
The warnings about air quality were completely justified in my opinion.
An interesting month and it's not over yet....
The Good
Angina was taken for a short holiday, to Tenerife actually, where she coped pretty well with the moderate heat, sun and tough relaxation regime.
She didn't like the chill at Luton Airport on our return - and protested - but once warm in the car she settled down.
The Bad
Our wonderful cardiac exercise programme is being cut back to one session a week. I'm very grateful for one but feel sad about the reduction.
More
Off to a routine follow up appointment with the cardiologist this afternoon.
Overall: Combination of factors has reduced the need for GTN spray usage. But Angina hasn't gone away you know....
He was an easy target. Sounded like a worker from 50 years ago. Fought for his members.
Believed in social housing so didn't become an accidental millionaire.
The stress must have been extreme and could well have been a major contribution to his passing.
The attacks by the media could and should be investigated. Was it objectively murder or just manslaughter?
But you do have to put your own ketchup or mustard on....,
