I was dreading it but it's now over and I should be able to discuss the results tomorrow.

The letters from the Hammersmith are still a problem....I have another appointment tomorrow there that I hadn't been informed about because I haven't got that letter either. Must email TNT, again.

It's a pain because I have to pull out of a work meeting that I'd set up and had I known about the hospital appointment this could have been rescheduled. 

A very helpful dietitian has informed me about the Portfolio Diet. It's remarkably similar to my Ornish Diet.

I've added almonds and changed my soy drink to one that is fortified with calcium. So I suppose I'm on the Portfolio now!

The Portfolio Diet recommends plant sterols and stenols. I'd like to know if there's any risk for people, like me, who are 80mg of statins.

Any thoughts?

It appears that Hammersmith Hospital is using TNT to send post. I have an appointment tomorrow but the letter advising me failed to arrive. Could explain why I was phoned on Friday.....

How many patients will miss appointments and at what cost, if this is a common problem? And how much does it cost for the NHS to have to phone patients?
